I was able to reallocate my 401k with stocks that will give me more growth in the future, cancelled a professionally “managed” plan to selecting my own stocks with greater expected growth!

My favorite part was the weekly group coaching. I could ask questions and get answers in a supportive judgment-free environment.

Hi, I’m Ogechi.

Meet Your Coach

I’m a financial educator, investor, and founder of OneSavvyDollar.

I teach late starters, rebuilders, overthinkers, beginners and inconsistent investors to build their first $100K in the market- with results.

Like many people, I didn’t grow up with a framework for wealth building.

I earned an associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degree (over 150 college credits) and graduated with $26,000 in student loan debt.

Yet not a single class taught me how to build personal wealth in a way I could actually apply to my life.

That realization was sobering: years of education, thousands of dollars in debt, and no roadmap for managing, growing, or investing my own money.

OneSavvyDollar exists to change that.
My purpose is to give you the start I never had so you can move forward faster, avoid costly mistakes, and build wealth without overwhelm, guesswork, or wasted time.

The 3 Biggest Mistakes Late Starters Make When Trying To Catch Up

Many people don’t start investing because they’re irresponsible. They start late because no one ever taught them. They were busy building careers, raising families, paying off student loans, supporting relatives, recovering from setbacks, or simply trying to survive.

Then one day they look at their retirement account, look at their age, and panic kicks in. Suddenly, the math feels different.

Fix My 401(K)

Most people have a 401(K). Very few know if it’s actually working. If you’ve ever logged in and thought: “I hope this is set up right…” or “I don’t even know what this is invested in”

You’re not alone.

This isn’t about being irresponsible or “bad with money.” It’s about the fact that most of us were enrolled automatically; and never shown how to revisit it AND we were never taught these things in the first place.

So, I put together a simple 3-page guide to help you:
